The owner stays in the USA and is a very sweet talker, and he promised a lot of things he will fix before moving in. In the end, we got stuck due to a pandemic and he charged 40K as deductions from the 1.2 lac deposit after moving out. He is unreachable for menial tasks like rental agreements etc. Whenever he comes to India, he will make multiple trips to the house every day, and walk around the flat looking at everything, as if we are trying to hoodwink him. The owner charged the full notice period in spite of his assurances over Whatsapp chat that he will not do so.
