Terrible. The owner is a decent-looking fraud. My husband and I have suffered badly and I would like to warn anyone else who might take this flat up. I do not wish to defame anyone but I truly do not want anyone shifting from a different city to Bangalore to suffer at the hands of this unscrupulous man and his dishonest, greedy wife! The owner is an ex-IAF officer, who behaves pleasantly in the beginning. After 5 months of their stay, he started getting drunk, entering the house forcibly. He asked my husband to buy alcohol for him. Because my husband did not respond to his message and refused to buy him alcohol, he asked us to vacate in a week. (He was well aware that my dad had undergone knee surgery just a week ago and was finding it difficult to walk. He started torturing and threatening only after that so that we are left with no option but to listen to him or leave the place.) He also deducted one month's rent as painting charges though we stayed only 5 months, and also tortured us for ONE and a HALF WEEKS by disconnecting electricity, sending threatening messages, and calling to hurl abuses. The broker Hyder Ali (mob # 895 191 9300) also did not help us in anything. (To me, it looked like a joint fraud by both of them considering kept himself away from all our fights and struggles.) Finally, Karnataka State Police came to our rescue. We have also filed a written complaint against the owner at Indiranagar Police Station (after which we could recover the security deposit). Again as I mentioned, the post does not intend to defame anyone but just wants to serve as a warning for innocent people so that you do not suffer how I and my family had to and lose money to these indecent, unscrupulous people.
